Waylon Cressell, just finished his junior season and stands among the elite in Indiana wrestling. A two-time IHSAA State Champion and former North Dakota State Champion, Waylon has proven himself as a dominant force on the mat. His talent and tenacity have earned him a #12 national ranking at 175 lbs by FloWrestling.

Waylon is known for his relentless work ethic, discipline, and drive to challenge himself against the best. He is committed to wrestle at the University of Northern Iowa (UNI)—a reflection of his dedication and high-level potential. But before he begins his collegiate career, Waylon is focused on closing out high school and gaining even more national-level experience.

Trip Information

Waylon qualified for USA Wrestling’s U20 Nationals by placing top 8 at the US Open on April 26-27, 2025. He will be accompanied on the trip by a Warren Wrestling coach. Below is an estimated of the expense for just Waylon based on the entry fee, transportation, housing and food.

This trip is a sponsored trip by the Indiana State Wrestling Association (ISWA) and the cost below includes entry fees, transportation, housing, food, gear and training camp.
