A message to the Warren Central Wrestling family,
I would to express my gratitude to Coach Tonte and his staff for giving me the opportunity to be a part of the coaching staff at Warren. Coach Tonte is an Indiana wrestling legend, and Warren Central has one of the most renowned wrestling traditions in the state. I am relatively new to the state, but I recognize what a privilege and honor it is to be asked to join the staff of this premier high school wrestling program. Wrestling has been a major part of my life for over twenty years, and coaching has been my passion and career for almost a decade. I plan on doing my best to help all of the student-athletes achieve their potential in the classroom and on the mat. I look forward to meeting and working with all of you – parents, wrestlers, and school administration – this upcoming season. Go Warriors!

Autism Awareness Walk 2016
Team Warren Wrestling
Warren Central Wrestling is excited to collaborate with the Autism Awareness walk on June 4th. Our Warrior Nation will be participating in this community service event as a team. It will be a great team builder and we encourage family, friends, and neighbors to walk with us! We will be walking in honor of two special people – Warren Central Wrestling’s BIGGEST FAN- Avery Campbell and Warren Central Wrestling’s VERY OWN – wrestler Mark Pedigo! The Campbell family has been very active in Warren wrestling this year. Avery’s brothers, Isaac, wrestles for the club and the Campbell’s have sponsored a Warrior Elite wrestler and several WCHS wrestlers. Mark Pedigo graduates this year and has wrestled on the WCHS team for 2 years. He was a leader on the team and an inspiration to many! His mom Dawn Grady was a big support to the team by assisting at tournaments and being a team Mom!

Come join us in a celebration of the 2016 IHSAA State Wrestling Championship! All families, teachers, administrators, alumni, staff and students are welcome to attend this public celebration at Warren Central High School in the south gym. Please enter door #25. This event is free and will be filled with much excitment! The wrestling community has worked very hard to make Warrior Nation History- This celebration for the 2016 Wrestling Team’s State Championship has broken records at many levels!

Warren wins Semi State and advances 8 to State! Congratulations to the team and individual state qualifiers: Keyuan Murphy (106), Skylour Turner (113), Dylan Culp (120), Joel McGhee (126), Matt McKinney (138), Trent Pruitt (152), Dez Goddard (170), Tristen Tonte (195) and the coaching staff for getting one step closer to “The Goal”.
The excitement builds as the “Warrior Nation” begins to develop Warren Township into a competitive, nationally recognized wrestling program on the East side of Indianapolis. Our “Same Chain New Link” motto was developed by upperclassman from the varsity 2015/2016 wrestling team. You can be part of this chain! We as a program are a family-a wrestling family. We all work together with gifts and talents investing in the future generation. In order to develop a program it is imperative to begin with a feeder system. The strong elementary program is underway and growing but the middle school level wrestlers are in need of great support. Here is where you come in…YES YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE in building a tradition of Gold!

Elementary Wrestling
Come Join us for Elementary Fun Day Nov. 7th 11-2pm at Warren Central High School Bounce House, Snow Cones, Cotton Candy, Story Time with Head Wrestling Coach Jim Tonte. Come meet the coaching staff, familiarize yourself with the facility and all wrestling has to offer for your elementary age child. Feel free to bring a friend! Families are welcome to join in on the fun!
Hope everyone is enjoying their summer and had a good start to school! Our first elementary practice will be November 4th from 6 pm-7 pm 0-2 years exp. 7-8pm 2+years experience. Practice will be held at Warren Central High School in the wrestling room. Please enter the building through door 14.
Registration can be done online on this website, or at Warren Central Football Games: 9/26, 10/3, 11/7 from 9-11am. If you haven’t registered by November 5th we will be taking online registrations starting at 5:30 pm in the wrestling room or on Fun Day!
